New in the series of programmes discussing Club Cricket Sydney activities, a professional Club Cricketer from Prestons Hornets Cricket Club Mr. David Millott talks about various aspects of this very interesting pass time of Sydneysiders. Introducing David, fully employed by Campbelltown Council for his profession, his voluntary activities such as Sports experience, interests and Club Management are discussed in this sesson. Sports in general and Cricket activities being his passion, David explains how he got into Liverpool Council, in particular Prestons Cricket Club and is managing the teams & numbers as well as his Club ('Hornets'). Some challenges of the changing nature of multi-cultural population of Liverpool council and the related passions with Cricket as a uniting activity are highlighted by David. The typical Aussie culture and the passion of 'giving everyone a go' is quite evident from David's talk on cricket, especially how he encourages girls as well as boys to play cricket and adjusts the teams based on comparable strengths to form mixed teams.
