DVM-PervaizBhai-15JUN15
A frank, thought provoking and very informative interview with Mr. Pervaiz Buttar, a Practicing Lawyer, and experienced Senior Lecturer in Law. He migrated to Australia from Lahore, Pakistan, as a Senior Lecturer in Law and later established his own law firm BUTTAR CALDWELL & CO. A brilliant scholar from his school days, Pervaiz Bhai explains how he was always a very serious student as well as an outstanding sportsman. He gained extra experience in compensation and arbitration law cases by accompanying his father, a prominent lawyer of Lahore himself, during his teen age.
PervaizBhai has had a unique experience of Law as a
profession. After completion of LL.B he went to England for his LL.M, returned to Pakistan and practised law there for 10 years. Political changes and their impacts made him migrate to Australia where he has made his own mark as a prominent
lawyer, running his own law firm and being very pro-active in looking after work place injury, Indian sub-continent family law and related cases.
This Desi Videsh Mein episode is a precursor to a series of programmes on Law Matters affecting Indian Subcontinent people in Australia.
