The very first Nashist (sitting) of Urdu International Australia (UIA) in 2015; a gathering of Urdu Adab (Literarture) exponents and entusiasts attended by well over 30 people living in Sydney. Dedicated to famous poet 'Nazar Amrohvi' this session commemorated his poetry and some of his selected work. This was followed by readings of short stories and poetry by selected exponents. The sitting was fully enjoyed by those present as full discussion followed especially on each of the short stories. Suniye Tau shall endeavour to present individual interviews with the authors of the short stories - Mr. Tariq Mirza, Mrs. Farrukh Sadiq and Mr. Arif Rana in forthcoming programmes. The Nashist was presided in the first part by Maulana Thanvi and then by Mr. Arif Rana.
