The Eighth Majlis-e-Aza at Imam Hasan Centre (IHC), Annangrove, NSW Australia on 'Hazrat Abbas' (brother of Imam Husain AS). In this session, at first Salam wa Soz is presented, then during the KHitab (Lecture) by Dr. Usama Al Atar, a recap of previous Majaalis is done and emphasis in Islam of Family (Genetics), Environment and Upbringing by parents is described. This is further strengthened by reasons given for equal status of women in Islam, as opposed to the 'false impression about suppression of women in Islam'. Dr. Al Atar mourns the Martyrdom of Hazrat Abbas during the battle of Karbala as masaayeb. At the end Nauhajaat are presented. 1. Salaam - Br. Ahmad 2.
