An exclusive interview with Dr. Wasi Raza, a young research scholar from Lucknow India, who has taken the bold and unique step of doing research work on the socio-political aspects of Iran and in particular concentrating on the evolution of a unique democratic system in the world, a theocratic constitutional democracy.
The fourth and final in a series of short sessions, this session once again includes questions from Maulana Abbas and Mr. Basharat Husain. Dr. Wasi Raza answers the questions and detail is presented about religious freedom and modernity. Also, concept of 'Marjaa'(The Head Scholar who is an expert of Islamic Jurisprudence and can also give Edicts) are expliained. It is also revealed that the original clause in the Iranian Constitution that "A marjaa only can be a Vali-Faqih" was changed during Imam Khomeini's life to "A good adminstrator who has knowledge of Islam can be a Vali-e-Faqih" becuase the country needs a good manager. All particpants say their last words of thanks to end the programme.
