Fourth in the series 'Lucknow Tub Aur Ab', describing as a journey of historical and cultural events leading to the changes the city has faced. Dr. Anjan Banerjee (lovingly called 'Dada' or 'Da'- awadhi/bengali word for elder brother) conducts this series in his own incomparable Lucknawi style. A longtime friend of Anjan Da, Mr. Mohammad Ahsan, a specialist expert on Lucknow, who is also an author of many books and who has professionally been active as an Officer in Indian Forest Services, goes into specific details. In this 'fourth' session Anjan Da asks Bhai Ahsan to describe the journey of change of buildings and architecture. Bhai Ahsan narrates the planning of architecture and buildings in Lucknow after initial destruction during British period. The European historians wrote about the then Lucknow in terms of buildings and a planned city to compare well with European cities of Paris, London and Constantinople. Discussion ensues about the efforts that are being made to maintain the heritage buildings in Lucknow.
