An introductory programme about happenings of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Alumnis Association's forthcoming activity, birthday celebrations of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, founder of the college and then University with the high aim of providing education to those sections of Indian society that could NOT afford them. The president of the Association Mr.Aal E Ali during his conversation with Iqtedar Abdi explains the original need and the idea propagated by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in 19th Century soon after the start of Indian Freedom for Independence from British rule in 1857. Aal E Ali Bhai explains about the atmosphere, objectives and some prominent Alumnis (called 'Aligarihans') of AMU. A description of the forthcoming event on 30th January as well as the scholarship scheme helping the really needy boys and girls is also provided and the programme ends with the 'Tarana' (Anthem) of the University.
