A roving, on the spot, informative report of happenings at Sydney's suburban location of Concord at Concord Function Centre for celebrations of India's Republic Day on 26th JAnuary, 2016 organized by Consulate General of India. Covering the atmosphere as well as the activities, Iqtedar Abdi reports the goings-on ('Hulchul') of official activities such as flag hoisting as well as getting peoples' reactions, feelings and comments on this new approach of sharing an important cultural event from India in Australia. It was an emotional as well as an uplifting morning with some 300 people present. Besides doing something related to the two important events Australia Day & Indian Republic Day, new and old acquaintences were made and a spirit of National Inetgration and uplifting thoughts was experienced. The undercurrent was found to be that we should develop together while keeping the un-natural pride and greed under control, so we can be an example to the whole world for human and resources development while being a peaceful and caring people.
